Lutino & Albino Breeders Society

1982 - 2007
The Lutino & albino breeders society was formed in 1982 by a dedicated group of budgerigar fanciers with the intention of promoting the breeding & exhibiting of lutino & albino budgerigars .
Founder members included Jim Bancroft , Margery Kirby Mason , G Berridge , Rick Watts , D Brown & Harry Willis.
The first president of the society was Margery Kirby Mason the well known lutino breeder from Devon who held the position from 1982 to 1988 .
In 1983 the society was inaugurated on May 16th & held it's first convention/A.G.M at Northampton on the10th April 1983 . A slide show was given by D Brown . vice chairman & an open discussion was chaired by A . F. Bracey the BS Chairman . A seminar/panel followed which included S Moizer , S Amos , R Thumbwood , D Brown & G Berridge .
